Freedom Park

Freedom Park in Lowell, Indiana is a very nice challenging disc golf course. I visited this park because it is my Dad’s home course now. In my opinion this place is great for intermediate and beginner level players.

It was designed by Brian Cummings, a local legend, in 2012. His name marked on hole 1 as a hole sponsor.

There was no one there when we played (it was also 95 degrees) but I can imagine it doesn’t get too much traffic considering the Lemon Lake Disc Golf complex is nearby.

What I appreciated most about this place was the subtle elevation terrain and the landscape that was cut so perfectly for the disc golf holes. Get off the edge of the landscape just a little bit though and it can be pretty rough. Aptly named Freedom Park, their was an American flag on every basket too.

Thank you to my patrons for making this possible. This course has been on my bucket list for awhile! You can also find some of these images (and more) in my disc golf stock photography portfolio.
