FRACTION RUN CUP 6 PRESENTED BY DELLWOOD DISC GOLF

Fraction Run Cup 6 is in the books! This disc golf tournament is like the spring opener to kick of the Greater Joliet Tour Series (“GJTS”) season presented by Dellwood Disc Golf. The tournament format is one round each day over two days at The Canyons in Dellwood Park.

Saturday was BEAUTIFUL, bright and sunny. Sunday was a whole other story with rain all day. I did the bulk of my shooting on Saturday knowing what we could be in for on Sunday. The season is HERE! Check out the tournament results here.

What’s new here?

I have added GIFs to my work. Actually, they are MP4 files. I have been wanting to make these short videos for years. The idea of perfection held me back for making it happen for a long time. But then I just decided to go for it.

These MP4 clips are available in my event galleries and are sized for Instagram stories (1080px x 1920px). Why are they MP4s and not GIFs? I realized that Instagram does not support MP4 files and that could be a problem if you want to share these. Instagram/Facebook/Social whatever does support MP4 files. Easy.

The nice thing about these files is when you upload them to social, If you post it as a “Post” in your Instagram feed it will automatically loop like a GIF file would and you can add your own music to them too.

If you want to hang longer, the day after the tournament we went and saw the TOTAL ECLIPSE at Fox Prairie Disc Golf Course. You can check that out in the last blog post. It was seriously one of the top tier best memories in my lifetime.
